Dr. Ben Bornstein is a cultural and political sociologist, who worked as a researcher at the Jerusalem Institute for Policy Studies until 2023, and currently serves as a research associate at the institute.
In addition to being a research associate, Bornstein is the academic supervisor of the “The Challenge of Living Together” area, a cooperative between the Van Leer Institute and the Shaharit Institute, as well as a post-doctoral fellow at the Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Anti-Semitism at the Hebrew University.
His research deals with political violence, social movements and cultural diversity. Ben has extensive experience in applied research and in consulting to public bodies in the fields of policy, community and communication.
