Nitzan Faibish joined the Jerusalem Institute for Policy Research in October 2021 as a researcher on the Society and Populations team and finished working for the institute in 2023. Nitzan led a joint study of the Jerusalem Institute for Policy Research and the Policy and Strategic Planning department of the Jerusalem Municipality, that examines Jerusalem’s middle class. Nitzan also oversaw the Jerusalem Municipality’s CEO Forum’s executive training program.
Nitzan is a doctoral student in the Department of Political Science and the Truman Institute for Peace Studies, and a research fellow at The Swiss Center for Conflict Research, the Hebrew University. Nitzan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Haifa (2016) and a master’s degree in political science from The Hebrew University (2018). Nitzan’s Ph.D. dissertation focuses on the relations between various ethnic and religious communities in shared spaces in Jerusalem.
