Sarah Jamjoum

Sarah Jamjoum started working at the Jerusalem Institute in May 2023, as a researcher in the Planning, Urbanism and Sustainability Team and finished her role in the end of 2023.

Sarah is currently finishing her BA in Architectural Engineering from Birzeit University. Along with her interest in the Palestinian population in the neighborhoods of East Jerusalem and the analysis of urban planning, she is active in political, social and environmental issues.

During her previous training, she exchanged experiences and knowledge regarding urbanism and society. Sarah’s goal is to contribute to improving the quality of life in Jerusalem’s arab neighborhoods and to assist East Jerusalem residents in exercising their rights.
