Tehila has been a researcher at the Institute since 2017, working on East Jerusalem and Jerusalem population issues while also founding and running the Institute’s archive, based on her professional experience in information management and indexing. In addition, Tehila is coordinator of research on the ultra-Orthodox society and dreams of establishing a center for the research of the religious-Zionist sector and expanding the research on in-depth processes occurring in the various populations of Jerusalem.
Tehila is a doctoral student of Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies at the Hebrew University, focusing on Islamic law and the challenges that modernity poses to it. She writes for the Jewish history magazine Segula on a range of topics related to Islam, Islamic history, the Arab world, and more.
