Seminar for lawyers from the Israeli Foreign Ministry

On April 17th 2011, the Jerusalem Institute staff held a seminar for members of the legal department at the Israeli Foreign Ministry. The schedule included an opening lecture by Dr. Amnon Ramon on the topic of Jerusalem from 1967 to present and a lecture by Prof. Ruth Lapidoth on legal issues relating to Jerusalem.

 

Additionally, the participants were invited to a tour led by Dr. Ramon through the Goldman Promenade to an observation post in Abu Tor with a view on Silwan and the City of David, Sheikh Jarrach and Mount Scopus.

 

The participants expressed the importance of the topics dealt with and recognized their relevance to their field of work.
