Itamar T. Taharlev is an applied sociologist and holds an MA in Sociology, a BA in German Language and Literature, and a teaching certificate in Arabic. Lecturer in Introduction to Sociology (in Arabic). Specializes in action research, evaluation studies, and organizational consulting based on field research. Has managed and led numerous educational and social projects. His research includes evaluation of English improvement programs in East Jerusalem, studies on social workers’ impact on youth, and mobility trajectories of peripheral entrepreneurs. Fluent in Hebrew, Arabic, and English, with working knowledge of Spanish and German. Published academic articles in Theory and Criticism and Catharsis.
