Dr. Hagit Sabo-Brantz is a researcher specializing in criminology, education, and applied interventions, and serves as an adjunct lecturer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her research focuses on the social, environmental, and institutional factors influencing crime, violence, and well-being, as well as the connection between environmental conditions, social structures, and risk behaviors.
In recent years, her work has centered on evidence-based policy regarding violence prevention within the education system and the effects of exposure to violent media. Additionally, she explores the use of advanced technologies, including Virtual Reality (VR), to promote the mental well-being of children and adolescents, particularly among at-risk populations. Her research integrates empirical work with policy applications and the development of evidence-based intervention programs.
Hagit is a mother of three and resides in Modi’in.
