Hagit Mercedes Sabo-Brants Ph.D

Dr. Hagit Sabo-Brants is Director of Data & Analytics at the Jerusalem Institute for Policy Research and an adjunct lecturer at the Institute of Criminology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is a criminologist specializing in evidence-based violence prevention and the use of data to inform policy and practice.

Her research examines the social, environmental, and institutional factors shaping violence, risk behaviors, and well-being, particularly among children and adolescents. Her work combines empirical research with the development and evaluation of evidence-based interventions, including innovative approaches such as the use of Virtual Reality with at-risk youth.

Hagit is a mother of three and lives in Modi’in.
