Omer joined the Institute in 2013 and focuses on Jerusalem research with an emphasis on tourism.
He is also a member of the statistical yearbook team and specializes in making the data accessible to the general public. Omer puts an emphasis on the creation of interactive real-time data, such as in the local Jerusalem elections and the general country-wide elections.
Omer studied sociology, anthropology, and East Asian studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for his BA, and criminology for his MA.
