    Symposium: Struggles over the Future of Jerusalem and Holy Sites

    Symposium: Struggles over the Future of Jerusalem and Holy Sites: Research Findings and Lessons. 

    A conference in honor of Professor Yitzhak Reiter‘s retirement after 30 years of research at the Jerusalem Institute, where he studied extensively the peace process, and conflicts regarding Temple Mount and holy places.
    The first part of the evening will focus on insights and lessons from direct and indirect negotiations on the Israeli-Palestinian issue, and specifically on  Jerusalem; 
    The second part will focus on tensions of holy places as they display in four case study’s: Temple Mount; Mount Zion; The Tomb Garden; and Qasr Al-Yehud.
     
    The key lecture will be held in English. The rest of the event will be held in Hebrew.
