Yamit lead some of the international research at the institute: R2Pi project–the transition from a linear to circular economy, which was an international research project in the framework of the Horizon 2020 program (H2020).
Yamit head research projects for creating strategies and policy in the fields of innovation, employment, and economics. This included research for the development of the hi-tech industry in the contexts of the Marom and Jubilee plans (government programs for the economic development of Jerusalem).
Before joining the Jerusalem Institute for Policy Research, she worked as an economist at Pareto (a strategic consulting company working with government ministries), at “Giza Zinger Eben” as a senior analyst, and as a strategic consultant to the director of the Local Government Administration in the Ministry of Interior.
